Really? Powdered Peanut Butter?
Tonight for my A to Z Challenge blog, I had planned to write something nice about being restful and thankful, but tonight while shopping for ice cream at our local New Season's Grocery Store, I discovered this...
POWDERED PEANUT BUTTER!! (It comes in Chocolate too if you order PB2 on Amazon.com) Yes, I have since discovered that this is neither a new product or unique to Portland, Oregon. After all, Portland is known for being weird. After all, we even have a bumper sticker...
So, for tonight, there will be no sentiments, no thought provoking ideas, now words for the wise, just the idea that for future days, you can think of me as I am making small servings of 45 calorie, 1.5g of fat of peanut butter.
Can you believe it? Just add water!!

That is weird. Never heard of powdered peanut butter. Hope it tastes as good as the regular one.
ReplyDeleteThat is very strange. Why would anyone need powdered peanut butter? It's not like it has a limited shelf life in the first place.

Never heard of such a thing! But I'm not surprised, after all there is dry shampoo now.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower:)) T.
Even the thought of peanut butter makes me shudder, I hate the taste of it!
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious. Now all you need is powdered bread and powdered jelly and you've got yourself a Spoonful of Survivalist Sandwich!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of powdered peanut butter but think something might be lost in the mixing.

I really don't understand that - especially the add water part. Peanut butter is by definition an oil so making it powdered seems odd. Wow. The things they think of!
ReplyDeleteNO!! Do NOT mess with my Peanut Butter. NO NO NO!! Bad Portland!!

Peanut Butter and Whine
Can't imagine powered pb! Yuk. The title of your blog caught my eye b/c I've always hated math, and, now, as an adult, I've realized I never liked it b/c I never had a good math teacher. I don't think I'm math-oriented anyway, but my daughter, who is a chemistry teacher, has shown me some tips that made me think, why didn't teachers ever explain it this way? Nowadays, calculators make doing math in my head obsolete, so I'll prob. never strengthen that part of my brain, but I wish I'd mastered it when I was younger. You have a fun way with words, so I've become a follower. ;-) I'd like to read more about your life growing up Quaker. :-) Visit me, if you'd like:
